Religions of the World
This exhibition displays the illustrations and text from the book, A World of Faith. Peggy Fletcher Stack, religion writer for the Salt Lake Tribune provided the text for the paintings done by Utah artist and educator, Kathleen Peterson.
All text and painting has been reviewed by people of each religious tradition for accuracy and tone. This serves as an introduction to the remarkable diversity of religion to young people. Bigotry begins with ignorance, and many of today's children know little or nothing about faiths other than their own. We hope these pages will show them similarities and connectedness so that they can be tomorrow's peacemakers.
