hecho en utah
With funding from the Utah State Library, we’ve reissued
the popular Hecho en Utah (Made in Utah) recordings in CD
format. This series of studio recordings was originally released
in cassette form and has been sold out for years! Each CD
contains a 12-page booklet with descriptive text, song lists,
and photos of Utah's Hispanic folk artists, dancers and musicians.
The CDs feature 17 groups and over 70 artists including many
of the best-loved Latino musicians in Utah from South America,
Mexico, the Caribbean, and the American Southwest. They offer
over 3.5 hours of music including traditional folk music,
contemporary popular songs and original compositions. The
three CD set, produced by Craig Miller, includes Latin American
Music (Vol. I); Mexican Music (Vol. II); and Tex-Mex &
New Mexican Music (Vol. III), and are sold separately or as
a package.
