DesignArts Utah '03

The exhibition ran from June 9 through July 3, 2003 at the Rio Gallery, 310 South Rio Grande in Salt Lake City.

The Design Arts Program of the Utah Arts Council was excited to present this first annual DesignArts Utah exhibition. Utah Designers working in any medium were encouraged to submit an application for the juried exhibition. The staff of the Design Arts Program was honored to have Buff Kavelman, Director of the Smithsonian National Design Awards at the Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum in New York as the distinguished juror for this inaugural exhibition.

Thirty-five Utah designers submitted work for the exhibition. Nine were selected by Ms. Kavelman. Click on the designers name for a sample of the work selected for the exhibit.
