to Utah communities of all sizes, the Utah Arts Council (UAC)
announces a new touring program:
OnStage in Utah!

Three Tours
Three tours are now forming. It’s easy to bring one or all of these performances to your community!
Support
Presenters are eligible for UAC funding for OnStage in Utah! as well as up to $2500 from a WESTAF TourWest grant (see TourWest section of attached document).
Marketing
A cooperative marketing package will be coordinated by the UAC featuring one poster/image with all dates listed; a very prominent link to the Utah Arts Council; and ad templates for use in all markets.
Artist Outreach
Included in the cost of the Tour is the opportunity for an artist outreach. The UAC will help you design an outreach component that takes advantage of your community’s unique needs, assets, and interests.
ARTISTS
Franc D’Ambrosio — Broadway Music
Program: Hollywood Concert or Broadway Concert
Artist Fee: $5000 
Available dates: September 12-24, 2008 OR
February 10-20, 2009
Franc D’Ambrosio is best known as the Phantom in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Tony award-winning musical, The Phantom of the Opera. He has performed the role of the masked man close to 3000 times.
D’Ambroisio’s resume includes an Academy Award nominated film, three Emmy award nominated television shows, two Grammy considerations, and a National Theatre Award nomination for his stage work.

Brad Richter — Solo Guitar
Artist Fee: $3000 
Available dates: October 15-22, 2008 OR April 7-15, 2009
Recognized as one of the leading guitarists and guitar composers of the 21st century, Brad Richter has reinvigorated the guitar repertoire with a freshness and unaffectedness that transcends preconceived genres.
Richter’s compositions carry the audience away into a world of magical sounds. He captures typical American
themes and transforms them into imaginative original music.

NY Chamber Soloists — Family Classical
Program: Babar the Little Elephant—Francis Poulenc
Artist Fee: $5000
Available dates: October 1-9, 2008 OR March 6-14, 2009
Acclaimed as an outstanding ensemble of distinguished virtuosi, performing widely diverse repertoire in creatively programmed concerts, the New York Chamber Soloists have maintained a unique niche in the chamber music world for nearly five decades. Their program of Babar the Little Elephant is based on the story by Jean de Brunoff.
