Duehlmeier-Gritton Duo: This versatile piano duo has met with accolades throughout the United States and Europe as they have performed works from Bach to Stravinsky. They most recently were winners in the Web Concert Hall International Competition (2006) and were chosen to perform at the International Conference on Arts and Humanities in Hawaii (2007).  They have performed throughout Europe, Asia and the Middle East.  In Ameica they have performed at Carnegie Hall (NY), Boston Symphony Hall, (MA). They have performed and recorded with the Warsaw Philharmonic Orchestra, the Czech Radio Orchestra, the Boston Pops, the Armenian Philharmonic Orchestra and the Utah Symphony. Their Carnegie Hall performance was warmly reviewed by Phillip Dieckow …   "I would like to praise the rhythmic vitality, virtuosic technical ease and vivid orchestral coloring in every moment of this concert."

Outreach Options:

  • The University of Utah piano performance majors have taken programs into the Title IX schools for the past eight years in Salt Lake City under our direction.  The programs have elements of humor, music, theatre, dance and audience participation.  These programs have been a smashing success. We would be happy to bring one of these programs into the public schools where ever we perform.
  • If there are colleges in the area, we would offer a master class in which we give lessons to students in front of an audience.  These have been well received in colleges throughout the country.

Technical Requirements:

  • Space with adequate lighting
  • 2 grand pianos tuned the day of the performance.
Note: Because the artists are Steinway Artists, they can arrange to provide two pianos for the performance.
