This trio performs a concert of traditional songs, ballads, and fiddle tunes from Utah and its European roots followed by a traditional Old Time Utah Dance with a caller.  All three of the performers research the music and dance of Utah as well as a number of other cultures related to their own personal heritage which includes Ireland, England, Scotland, the Isle of Man, Whales, and Scandinavia.  Audiences always enjoy an evening with this group.

Outreach Options:

Performances and descriptions of Utah and European traditional music and dance for schools, rest homes, community organizations, etc.

Workshops:

• What is traditional Utah Music?
• Lecture/ demonstrations on traditional instruments, traditional dance and the “folk process”
• How to organize your own traditional square dance or contra dance

Technical Requirements:

Very few requirements or limitations.  We are very adaptable and can play in small or large spaces, acoustically or with a sound system.  We prefer straight back chairs without arms on the chairs.  If a sound system is required, we can bring one, and just need access to a working electrical outlet.
