Formed in 1999 in Salt Lake City, comedy a cappella quartet moosebutter shares their love of music through funny songs in a variety of styles, all rendered without instruments.  Featuring lush a cappella harmonies, hilarious stage antics, audience interaction, and amazing vocal acrobatics - including drum sounds - moosebutter is a completely unique artistic experience.

moosebutter can present a moosebutter comedy music show or a customized educational or arts outreach program of your specification.  Previous programs have highlighted the range and ability of the human singing voice, different styles of music, accepting different voices, and the world of contemporary a cappella.   moosebutter also regularly visits schools and youth groups to present programs on the history of music, parts of music, musical styles, songwriting techniques, stage presentation, positive social interaction, self-awareness, and vocal technique.  Special seasonal programs, especially "moosebutter Christmas" are also available.

Outreach Options:

Hour-long vocal music workshop for secondary school students (elementary program available by request).  Covers: music genres, vocal technique, stage presence, and the role of music in the modern world.

Technical Requirements:

• moosebutter will supply their own sound system
