The Utah Arts Council's Community Development Program (CD) assists Utah's arts organizations to promote and expand arts and culture. CD provides assistance with advocacy, fundraising, business practices, non-profit organizational development, and technical assistance.

Handbooks

The Utah Arts Council's Community Development Program staff has prepared handbooks on areas of interest to the nonprofit community: The Art of Forming a New Nonprofit, The Art of Board Development, and The Art of Volunteer Development. Training Programs

The Utah Arts Council offers a variety of Training Programs aimed at Community Development. These programs include "Art of the Nonprofit" training and the Change Leader program. Find a Local Arts Council

Many of Utah's communities boast their own arts council. The Community/State Partnership staff maintains an online Directory of Local Arts Councils in Utah.
