National Grant Opportunities

The Utah Arts Council is interested in promoting additional sources of funding for artists, educators and cultural organizations. The following grant opportunities are currently available:

Fieldstone Foundation Nonprofit organizations serving the community; leadership development opportunities for nonprofit CEO's and executives

Graham Foundation for the Advanced Studies in the Fine Arts Provides project-based grants to individuals and institutions working to address issues in architecture and the built environment January 1, July 15
Green Foundation Supports the arts and arts education to nonprofit organizations. Priority is given to those promoting expansion of community arts programs and/or support youth and adult creativity in their regular schedules Varies by program

Andy Warhol Foundation Advance the visual arts, foster innovative artistic expression, support artists and their work, encourage curatorial research on contemporary art and back experimental works. March 1 and September 1
Wells Fargo & Co. Wells Fargo considers requests for financial support from organizations that enhance a community’s overall quality of life, including arts programs and cultural festivals, civic projects like playgrounds or ”smart growth,” assistance for umbrella groups that build capacity for nonprofits, and other activities that help provide opportunities for a community’s diverse residents. Proposals accepted January 1 through November 1
