Nebo School District Title VII Indian Education Program
Spanish Fork, Utah

This program, funded in part by the Utah Division of Arts and Museums, provides summer programming for American Indian students in the Nebo School District. Under the guidance of artists, students explore storytelling, moccasin-making, pow-wow dances and regalia construction. Project coordinator: Brenda Beyal

Kindred Spirits is an arts organization for children with disabilities and their families and friends. While making art together, participants learn about challenges, triumphs and the importance of every individual. Project director/executive director: Alice Perreault


Iron County School District
Cedar City, UT

Iron County School District invites Division of Arts and Museums artists to teach elementary teachers how to teach dance, music, theatre and visual arts. Teachers learned puppetry with Bruce Chessé, African drumming with Zinse Agginie and Mexican folklorico dance with Monica Gomez Rogerson.
