Museum Day at the Legislature
The Office of Museum Services Board of Directors and the Utah Museums Association are hosting "Museum Day at the Legislature" on Tuesday, February 28, 2012.
This is an excellent day for participating museums to present displays that reflect the number and diversity of museums in Utah and have the opportunity to connect with their elected officials. Museum professionals and board members are invited to visit with legislators and colleagues about the importance of protecting our cultural and artistic heritage throughout Utah.
Schedule of Events
- 7:30-8:30 am - Check-in and Set-Up Displays (Rotunda)
- 8:30-9 am - Information Session (Multi-Purpose Room/Public Lounge, Room 130)
- 9 am-2:30 pm - Displays and Tabling (Rotunda)
- 9:45-11:45 am - Meet with Representatives
- 11:45 am-12:30 pm - Meet with Senators
- 2:30-3 pm - Breakdown Displays and Load-out (Rotunda)
