The Statewide Annual UT ‘21: Craft, Photography, Video & Digital juried exhibition, holds a scope of themes that exhibits the commonalities many people experienced during the last 18 months. Ranging from hope vs. despair, joy, and gratefulness, juxtaposed against solitude and meditative practices in art-marking.
Life during COVID-19 has been challenging not only for the citizens of Utah but also globally. Emotions and opinions were felt far and wide, and this exhibition highlights some of the art created during this period in isolation and unpredictability. It was a time of pause and reflection, for better or worse.
