Design Arts

The Utah Division of Arts & Museums’ annual Design Arts Exhibition began in 2003 and was created as a platform for the promotion of excellence in the diverse fields of design in Utah. From 2003 to 2022, the Design Arts Exhibition helped Utahns see, experience, use, and value the art of design that surrounds us daily. 

This year, we will be sunsetting our Design Arts Exhibition and will instead be supporting the design field by including design arts in our annual Artist Fellowship Program. Five fellowships of $5,000 each will be awarded to Utah-based designers demonstrating exceptional creativity in their field. Through this fellowship, we hope to create a larger impact in the careers of Utah-based designers.
